Adkins, Valerie Elaine 60 of De Soto, passed away on her birthday February 26th. She was a Registered Nurse and graduated from Dallas Baptist College. A faithful member of the Cold Springs Church of Christ, Lancaster. Survived by her husband Gary Adkins, son & daughter-in-law: CDR Allen & Kirsten Adkins, daughter & son-in-law: Dr. Adrian & George Sierant. Grandchildren; Madelynn, Georgie, Vivianna & Olivia, sister: Caroyn Cunningham. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 5 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM, WEST/HURTT FUNERAL HOME with Mark Hancock, officiating. Interment will follow in the Vaughn Cemetery, Hill County, TX at 3:00 P M. Memorials are requested to the Cold Springs Church of Christ, 2710 W. Main St., Lancaster, TX 15146 or the Ovarian Cancer Research
