What you've learned since graduation: Think for yourself and trust yourself. If you try hard enough, you can do almost anything. Happiness is not found at the end of the rainbow, it's found along the way. 

What you've been doing since graduation:    I moved to Austin in 1969 and have been here ever since. I attended UT-Austin and received a BA in English in 1974 and a BS in Communication in 1991. I have completed 28 years of state service with UT-Austin, where I am currently employed as a Construction Planner. After 52 years of bachelorhood, I got married in 2002. My wife has just completed her JD degree and is planning a new career as an attorney.
