Roger Burton Franklin...1950-2007
Roger's memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 15, at 5:00pm, at the Cowboy Church of Ennis, 429 SE Interstate 45 service road, Ennis, TX
I received this email from Harold Boatright this evening (08/12)...and I quote...
"It is with great sorrow that I tell you this Rich , but Roger Franklin passed away to be with The Lord and our savior. Roger went into the VA Hospital last Friday night 08/03 with chest pains, he had surgery on Tuesday for a triple bypass surgery. He had complications on Thursday and his Kidneys failed him today 08/12 at 3:40pm. He will probably have a funeral around Wednesday or Thursday. I will notify you and please pass on to other Bison's. The last time I talked to him he mentioned don't let me forget to come to the next high school reunion get together. Roger was getting his life together and felt everyone was accepting him again and was looking forward to the next outing. He served in the US NAVY and was getting back into masonry. He left a wife , Kim and gave his life back to Christ two years ago. I will miss this amazing Brother. I was at the hospital every chance I could make it. I was in constant contact with Kim . She is really a trooper. Never left the hospital one time. Please pass on to other Bison's and I will let you know anything else that comes up."
