Spouse:    Les

Children:    4+

Grand Children:    0

Favorite Song:    See you in September

Favorite Hangout:    Kip's, Austin's BBQ

Favorite Teacher:    Mr. Sallis

Type car you drove:    I didn't drive at the time

Fondest / Worst memories:

Fondest: I enjoyed the pep rallies and Concert Choir rehearsals of "Once upon a mattress". I also remember an assembly where a man was quoting the Sermon on the mount from scripture and Mr. White had the concert choir sitting in the balcony ready to sing "The Lord's Prayer" at the appropriate time. The sound was amazing.

Worst: My second year Spanish class and a mishap in one of the labs that made it difficult to breathe for a while.

What you've learned since graduation:    God is awesome! Family is a blessing and life is a gift. We cant always choose our circumstances, but we can choose how we respond to them and that makes all the difference. I've found that when it comes to life, following the directions of the maker makes for smoother operations.

What you've been doing since graduation:  I worked at First National bank in Dallas for several years, saved some money and then went to college. I enjoyed traveling the Northwest, West Coast and Hawaii with college choirs. I married my husband, Les, in 1974 and have enjoyed 34 years of marriage! We have 5 children (ages 16-28) who kept me busy. Our youngest will graduate from high school next year and then I will retire after 20 years of home educating. The years have flown by.
